Hiking
Burgundy is a little-known hiking region in central France. It is characterized by gentle hills, beautiful nature and authentic French villages. Central in Burgundy is the Morvan national park with forests, streams, rivers and lakes.
When hiking directly from our Auberge, we see a lot of meadows, green hills with hedges and woods, beautiful solitary trees and lots of country roads. It is an old cultural landscape with trails that have existed since a long time. The "Voie Romaine", the old trade routes from Roman times, can still be found here. Another area where hiking is great is the famous wine region south of Beaune. Walk through the vineyards on the sun-drenched eastern slopes and afterwards, of course, grab a terrace.
We have a wide variety of routes ready to go. Plenty of variety in length, difficulty and environment. From a walk around the block after dinner to long day trips. A walk in nature or a nice town. Nice against the hill or just flatter. A forest walk or one with beautiful views over the hills. It is all possible.
There are many walks signposted. In addition, we have put them all on maps. You may take the maps with you while hiking.
