Let me introduce myself

Hello! Let us introduce ourselves.

We are Clemens and Jacqueline. We have traveled extensively in the past, both for work and pleasure. This often brought us to hotels, B&Bs, and restaurants, which gave us the idea to start our own Chambres d'hôtes one day.

In 2012, we moved from the Netherlands to England, where we lived happily for almost five years. We really enjoyed getting to know English culture up close.

When Clemens was offered a job in Switzerland, we packed our bags and moved to beautiful Switzerland. For four years, we enjoyed the mountains, cheese fondue, and, somewhat unexpectedly, Swiss wine.

The idea of starting a bed and breakfast one day remained in the back of our minds. In 2020, between COVID lockdowns, we started looking and found Auberge le Grillon. We fell in love with the old building with its friendly atmosphere and large garden. Together with the versatility of the surroundings, we were certain and decided to buy le Grillon.
